Media Policies for Teams & Spectators

For the safety of all performers, flash photography is strictly prohibited at all MCGC events
For the privacy of all performers, family, friends, and fans are permitted to take photographs for personal use only, and these photographs must be limited to the groups with which they are directly associated
Professional photography is provided by MCGC to each unit as part of their membership dues

Units and spectators are only permitted to record the groups with which they are directly associated
MCGC provides each unit with a recording of their performance; this is for educational purposes and may be shared within the organization, but may not be made available to the public
All recordings are for personal use; they may not be sold or posted for public viewing (e.g. YouTube, school websites, social media platforms, etc.)
MCGC does not condone nor accept any liability for unauthorized recordings of its events; any liability will rest with the individual or organization making the recording

Drones are prohibited at all MCGC events
Anyone blocking the view or otherwise distracting judges or other spectators may be asked to leave
Failure to adhere to MCGC policies may result in immediate dismissal/removal from the event
